Doh! Ouch! Take some pity on the manager and point this out to him/her. The madness has to stop!!

I am often driven out of shops in the UK by them playing off key music, ranting music or music so loud I can't talk to the assistant.

In restaurants when I am the only customer I ask for the music to be changed or turned down and they look at me as if I am mad..
never mind the TV on full volume as well!

I love music, play it all the time, make music, so it is not the music I mind, it is the crass inappropriateness of much of it...
